Mike
With the holiday season upon us I thought that this would be a good topic to discuss. I am curious if anyone makes a donation to a favorite charity? If you do please share the charity to help spread its word and cause.<div>
</div><div>At It's A Photo Booth (my photo booth company) we make an annual donation to the <a href="http://www.stbaldricks.org/">St. Baldrick's Foundation</a>.I first learned of the foundation when we participated in a local shave event a couple years back. One of the reasons I prefer St. Baldrick's to others is that 82% of all funds go directly to research (http://www.stbaldricks.org/where-the-money-goes/).</div><div>
</div><div>I hope to put on my own shaving event in 2013 as the one we participated in is 2011 appears to have been more for publicity for a new barber shop than true charity.</div><div>
</div><div>What is your charity/foundation of choice?</div>

Cheap marketing PLUS karma. Hard costs are gas and paper.
The number of people who express their appreciation for me "doing this" was surprising. And I am referring to the guests, not the organizers.
I have booked 4 events from those who saw us at a charity event.
We need conversations with prospective clients. we need to "show" them what we do and how we do it, and put a sample of our product in their hand. With their face(s) on it. Laughing.
They need help drawing a crowd.
It's a good match.
